A special session for Kellogg alumnae featuring Kellogg Professor Andrew Sykes - The Trust Advantage: How to be a Highly Effective and Beloved Leader.

At this year’s KEWN Fall Welcome, Professor Andrew Sykes will focus on the skills of identity, conversation and habit trust: the “secret recipe” for leaders that others admire, follow and credit for their own success. We all want to lead effectively, build lasting relationships and inspire others, but competing priorities and constant demands can leave leaders stretched thin.

Participants will learn to:

• Understand our trust issues, why we each risk being placed into a trust hole and how that severely limits our leadership impact.

• Learn about identity trust, and the essential leadership skill of creating a high-trust first impression in the milliseconds to minutes when we meet new stakeholders.

• See a pathway to turn identity trust into conversation and habit trust, and why and how these skills will earn you a Trust Advantage, boosting your leadership, life and legacy.

Professor Andrew Sykes is co-author of The 11th Habit, a TEDx speaker, and a lecturer at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Andrew is the founder of Habits at Work, where he and his team help customer-facing teams build relationships, create and leverage trust, and uncover their customer’s needs beyond what’s on the surface.
